Trees..TOUGH ENOUGH

Sept.28/06-Manila was struck by typhoon named “milenyo”; the metropolis was ravaged by the aftermath. The urban jungle became a crushed rainforest as you can see trees fallen and uprooted all over the city but there are trees which steadfastly survived and overcame the rabid wind of “milenyo”.

Just like in life we humans are like trees, we are always being assaulted by all sorts of problems and situations that sometimes or often thought we can never handle and overcome .But if we are like those trees which are deeply rooted and have a firm, strong foundation no predicament can shake us and fears are not welcome in our lives. Deeply rooted in the sense that we have resolute faith and having the true foundation which is our HEAVENLY FATHER's LIVING WORD that dwells within us, not only in our minds but within our hearts. No adversity, problems and situations bigger than the LIVING GOD.

“The Lord is exalted,for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with justice and righteousness.He will be sure foundation for your times,a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.”
NIV ISAIAH 33:5-6.
