Swing Out Sister Manila ' 08

Last April 7,one of the best pop jazz group performed inManila ( Araneta Coliseum),the Swing Out Sister. People gathered at he Big Dome to see Corrine Drewery and group as they visit Manila for the second time ,and as for me this was a dream come true to see them perform live.The crowd both the young and the not so young from the ringside up to the bleachers danced to their favorite SOS songs like You on my Mind,Am I the Same Girl,Twilight World and til the encore Breakout.She also croons the melodic Forever Blue and introduces the new tracks Butterfly and Beautiful Mess from their latest album.The song started up a bit late but as for me it's worth the wait.

Last March 30th (March31st, Manila) Orlando, Florida the granddaddy of all wrestling events unfold Wrestlemania 24 over 74,000 plus experienced the biggest wrestling extravaganza. The event showcased the toughest talents in sports entertainment today nonetheless with pyros, pageantry, spectacles, jet flybys and celebrities. It was highlighted with great matches like the Money in the Bank match, Career threatening match, triple threat WWE championship, World Championship and was graced by some celebrities like John Legend, Kim Kardashian and the notorious Snoop Dogg.

For me the most memorable match would be Ric Flair’s last match and will be remembered for years, this is a grand way to end a very colorful career. With the” Showstopper” Shawn Michaels fitting against the “Nature Boy” it was an instant classic, another is the Money in the Bank match which is full of surprises and filled with bone crushing and death defying moves and of course the WWE and World title in which the participants unrelentingly fought to have the coveted gold.
