Couple of days ago, as I was dusting off my trophies(awards which I have won in scale modeling contests) I’ve noticed that some of my trophies began to tarnish and some of the metal plates began to have these irremovable stains. As I ponder through each and every trophy I’ve realized that all of these awards or citations are worthless and meaningless even though that time winning those awards was a big deal for me, it’s more of an ego thing.
Just like in life , all of our accomplishments whether it maybe in business, career or even in whatever our passion is ,it will perish. Because life here on earth is temporary so what is more important is investing our time and effort into what is unseen and eternal and not to the standards of the world system. Life on earth is just a training ground to the real home which is eternity.
