File Corrupted...

About a month ago, I’ve decided to get my broadband internet connection because the dial up connection is way too slow and a lot of times it hangs and stalls. As soon as it has been connected and as my excitement arises and eagerness looms ,I downloaded some free applications from the internet and updated some of my PC applications. However as I’ve open an application a message popped asking me if I want to update that particular program assuming that it’s for the betterment of the program I clicked “yes”. Then after uploading the update I try to going back of doing work and opening some files but only to find out that my virtual memory is low and the computer began to run slow so I’ve try to fix by doing some steps .And tried to reboot it again and instead of fixing it some of the files started to be corrupted and cannot be opened. So the best thing that I’ve think of is to have this PC be reformatted or erasing all the files thus having the computer free from viruses and cleaned from other unnecessary files .

Just like in life ,some things occur to us without us even knowing the why those happen? And sometimes when we’re in a predicament we tend to be depressed and we try to find some ways or outlet to fix things on our own or even escape from it.Instead of doing the right thing we tend to go somewhere or escaping by doing some compromising stuff or even cheap thrills that the world has to offer but most of the time these things or stuff fills us with thrills that will last for a few minutes or hours but will leave us even more empty. And for us without realizing that the key is very simple “go to our Heavenly Father” and ask for restoration and God will surely give us that freedom and restoration. Some of us may think that we don’t deserve God’s love and forgiveness because our life is messed up.But God is a God of second, third, fourth and multiple chances we may have sinned a million times or our mistakes maybe filed up as tall as the Eiffel Tower or even the Taipei101(world’s tallest building) but just seek God ask for forgiveness ,acknowledge our transgressions and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior ,repent from everything that the Bible called sin , stay away from things and activities that displeases God ,He will surely gives us a clean slate and remember our sins no more because 2000 years ago He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay as ransom for our sins That’s the living proof that God loves us so much.

“A heart open for correction is a life open for restoration”

Minhas lomos...

What is lomography?

Lomography, international vernacular-photographic movement founded by two Viennese students, Matthias Fiegl and Wolfgang Stranzinger. In the early 1990s they discovered the Lomo Kompakt Automat, a basic auto-exposure 35 mm camera made in Leningrad (St Petersburg) since 1983, and found it ideal for taking uncomposed, spontaneous snapshots, especially in the street and in low light. Subsequently they not only founded the Lomo Society International and organized exhibitions, but dissuaded the manufacturer from abandoning Lomo production and themselves took over distribution. Later, the society designed and marketed multi-lensed plastic cameras (‘samplers’) capable of taking several images on a 35 mm frame. But the Lomo ‘philosophy’—‘Shoot—don't think’—is independent of any particular equipment, film based or digital. Although Lomography's headquarters remained in Vienna, ‘embassies’ appeared worldwide. From 1997, however, it became a classic Internet phenomenon, with dozens of websites and thousands of pictures exhibited online.
— Robin Lenman

Lomography is the commercial trademark of Lomographische AG, Austria for products and services related to photography. The name is inspired by the former state-run optics manufacturer LOMO PLC of St. Petersburg, Russia. LOMO PLC created and produced the 35 mm LOMO LC-A Compact Automat camera - which became the centerpiece of Lomography's marketing and sales activities. This camera was loosely based upon the Cosina CX-1 and introduced in the early 1980s.
In 1991, the Austrian founders of Lomography "discovered" the Lomo LC-A while on holiday in Prague (bought a second hand one for ~US$8). As the company states, they were "charmed by the unique, colorful, and sometimes blurry" images that the camera produced. After a series of international art exhibitions and aggressive marketing work, Lomography signed an exclusive distribution agreement with LOMO PLC - thereby becoming the sole distributor of all Lomo LC-A cameras outside of the Soviet Union. This monopolistic agreement, their viral/tribal marketing strategies and pricing philosophy have generated controversy.
Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, "happy accidents," and alternative film processing are often considered part of the "Lomographic Technique." Users are encouraged to take a lighthearted approach to their photography, and use these techniques to document everyday life, as the Lomo LC-A's small size, simple controls, and ability to shoot in low light encourages candid photography, photo reportage, and photo vérité.

TEN Rules of Lomography:

1.Take your LOMO everywhere you go and whenever you go.
2.Use it any time - day or night.
3.Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
4.Shoot from the hip.
5.Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
6.Don't think.
7.Be fast.
8.You don't have to know beforehand what you've captured on film.
9.You don't have to know afterwards, either.
10.Don't worry about the rules.

For me lomography is spontaneous photography without having to worry the technical aspect of photography while using simple plastic cameras which surprisingly produce abstract vivid effects. It’s hip ,cool it’s classic and I still love some old school stuff so I consider myself a fan.

These were the photos taken using my Lomo camera specifically the Holga 135 .

Making Sense -C.E.N.T.S

I just wanna say what I've learned from a local cable program in which Mr. Anthony Pangilinan (EVP SMART/PLDT foundation)was guest. He said that in whatever endeavor or activity where into we should make an impact or making a difference then we should make C.E.N.T.S.You can also read this in the book From Good To Great by Jim Collins.

C-contribution-In doing something, we should ask ourselves how can we contribute?or can I contribute.

E-excellence-Do I excel in this field? Are you good at what you do?

N-Natural-Is it natural in you?Does it comes from within?

T-Turn On-meaning does it give you an emotional high or makes you happy?Do you enjoy?

S-Spirit leading-giving you peace in doing these things,God leads you to do those things.

After 21 years...goin back to the walled Manila

Last April 12th ,I visited one of the most historical part of Manila;Intramuros.
My first stopped was at Fort Santiago, this structure was built by the Spaniards as a main defense fortress during its colonial era.It is also where the Philippine native hero Jose Rizal was detained before his execution in 1896.This site was also captured by the Japanese during the World War 2 and it also houses prison dungeons by both Spanish and Japanese conquerors.Today the fort serves as a museum and home of the Philippine-Spanish legacy.

Second stop was at the Manila Cathedral which is known as the seat of the Archbishop of Manila during the Spanish regime. Then off to Casa Manila,an old century house that noe serves as a restaurant as well as a museum of an old posh Spanish family.

My walled Manila journey ended with San Agustin Church , a Roman Catholic Church built by the Augustinians and the oldest standing church in the archipelago. Also considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site under the classification "Baroque Churches of the Philippines".This landmark serves as both a church and a museum it showcases a myriad of religious and historical artifacts.
